How To Play Pick’Em

Pick 'Em - 4/1/25 Version

Select which 2 to 8 golfers will perform Over or Under their projected outcome, get all your questions right, and win! With Chirp, you are in control of your entry. Choose from a variety of golfers and explore alternate projections for your favorite golfer. When making a standard entry, each selected choice will have its own multiple and the product of all the selected choices will result in the entry’s final multiple. For example, if you select the following:

• Scottie Scheffler Under 68.5 Strokes = 1.98x
• Rory McIlroy Over 3.5.Birdies or Better = 2.02x
• The entry multiple will be 3.99x (1.98x * 2.02x).

To make a valid entry, select at least 2 golfers. Keep stacking your picks to increase your multiplier up to 100x!

Additionally, Pick ’Em entries are subject to restrictions on the max entry fee and max fees that can be put on a given entry. Currently, you can include the same type of question in your entry for up to $500 in entry fees. For example, If an entry with a Jordan Spieth Under Strokes question was made for $50. That question and its respective alternate projections can only be used in an additional $950 worth of entries. These limits are subject to change over time and different entries may also be subject to differing max entry fees.

Coverage

With Coverage, you can win even if one of your picks misses the mark. To play, make an entry with a minimum of 3 picks and turn on the Coverage toggle before submitting your entry.

• If you submit an entry with 3-4 picks, you’ll be able to win even if ONE pick loses.
• If you submit an entry with 5+ picks, you’ll be able to win even if TWO picks lose.

Coverage picks are subject to a min multiple and if the calculated multiple is too low you can either swap your picks for ones with a bigger multiple or add picks to your entry.

Coverage entries are subject to the same cancellation and tie rules as regular entries where each tie or cancellation results in the respective pick getting ignored and the entry multiple being recalculated. If a cancellation results in the entry falling below the min multiple, the player will be subject to a partial payout depending on the remaining multiple in their entry.

After each cancellation the entry gets revalidated to make sure there is a valid amount of picks left and that the remaining eligible picks are both from 2 different events. Entries that fail to meet these qualifications as a result of a cancellation will be canceled and refunded.

In the event of ties and cancellations resulting in a valid entry with 2 remaining picks, the entry will turn into a standard entry.

If an entry has 2 picks remaining where one is correct and the other is a tie, the player is subject to a payout in the value of the remaining correct multiple. However, if an entry has 2 picks remaining where one is a tie and the other is incorrect then the entry won’t have a payout. If all eligible picks in an entry are tied then the player will be refunded their entry fee.

Entry Restrictions

A valid Pick ‘Em and Pick & Spin entry must have at least 2 golfers and must include golfer choices from at least 2 events. A golfer can only be chosen once per entry for a given performance.

• Example: If there is a question asking about Tiger Woods Strokes for Round 1 of The U.S. Open and another question asking about Tiger Woods Birdies or Better for Round 1 of The U.S. Open, both choices can’t be added to an entry at the same time.

• Example: If there is a question asking about Tiger Woods Strokes for Round 1 of The U.S. Open and another question asking about Tiger’s performance at theTravelers, both Tiger questions can be added to the entry. However, the entry must have at least one more pick where the golfer is different.

Additionally, each game mode is subject to a max entry fee and a limit on the cumulative entry fees that can be used on a given question.

• For example, a game mode has an entry fee limit for a question of $1,500. If a Scottie Scheffler Under 68.5 Strokes choice is submitted with an entry fee of $100, that question can only be used in additional $1,400 worth of entry fees across all future entries. Choosing any Scottie Scheffler Strokes question would contribute to the limit. This includes any alternate projections associated with Scottie Scheffler. Choosing a Scottie Scheffler question for a different stat, time period (Full Tournament.), or a different event will also not contribute to the limit.

The max entry fee per entry, max picks per entry, and entry fees limit on a question are subject to change over time for promotional reasons or other purposes as part of Chirp’s discretion. However, if an entry is submitted before a change to the previously mentioned limits, it will be scored under the pre-changed conditions.

Chirp reserves the right to remove or edit golfer selections at any time as projections and matchups may change. However, any picks made by the player will be scored as they were originally submitted.

All questions must be submitted before an event starts. Players who break this rule will be subject to a cancellation of either their entry or the submitted question.

Entries and questions may be canceled at the discretion of Chirp. In any such event, your account balance will be refunded if you paid for a canceled entry.

Players who are suspected of malicious play will be subject to a ban or limitation of gameplay, per Chirp’s discretion.

Scoring

• Strokes: any forward club swing, including when putting, that a golfer is trying to hit the ball.
• Holes Played: The number of holes the golfer completes in a given tournament for a specified timeframe (ex: 36.5 Holes Played in a Full Tournament).
• Total Score: The golfer’s tournament score, expressed in negative or positive numbers in relation to par.
• Birdies or Better: The golfer has finished a hole 1 under par OR better (ex: ex: -2, -3, -4 under par).
• Bogeys or Worse: The golfer has finished a hole 1 over par OR worse (ex: +2, +3, +4 over par).
• Total Birdies: Total number of Birdies a golfer has scored (1 under par).• Total Bogeys: Total number of Bogeys a golfer has scored (1 over par).
• Pars: Total number of Pars a golfer has scored. This stat will only pertain to pars, and any birdies or better or bogeys or worse will not affect the calculation.
• Pars or Better: The number of pars, birdies, eagles, albatrosses or holes in one made for a specified timeframe.
• Finishing Position: The final position on the leaderboard for a golfer once every golfer has completed the tournament. If the Finishing Position question for Scottie Scheffler is “Top 10 Finish” and he finishes ninth place, “Yes” will be graded as correct and “No” will be incorrect. If two or more golfers tie for the same finishing position, they will both be graded that position. For example, If Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy both finish tied for ninth place, they would both be graded as ninth place finishing position.
• Cumulative Par 3 Strokes: The total number of strokes when a golfer’s scores on every par 3 for the round are added up.

Any penalties added after the conclusion of the golfer's round (incorrect scorecard or other rule violation) will not be counted.

Playoff Holes: Stats accumulated from playoff holes will not be reflected in the stat total for a projection.

Full Tournament Questions

Full Tournament Over/Unders

Golfer must complete all 18 holes of the round in order for the question to count. If he doesn’t the question will be canceled.

Cancels and Ties

Cancellations

Each question cancellation reduces the amount of scored questions within an entry and regresses the entry payout down a pick.

• 8 picks in an entry regress to 7 picks
• 7 picks in an entry regress to 6 picks
• 6 picks in an entry regress to 5 picks
• The pattern continues until the entry regresses to 2 picks

If an entry has 2 picks remaining and one gets canceled, then the entry will be canceled and refunded.

After each cancellation the entry gets revalidated to make sure there is a valid amount of picks left and that the remaining eligible picks are from 2 different golfers. Entries that fail to meet these qualifications as a result of a cancellation will be canceled and refunded.

Questions where a golfer did not play are equal to cancellations.

Shortened tournaments/rounds that are deemed “official tournaments/rounds” will be scored as usual.

Top 5, 10, 20 Finish: Resolved based on the standings after every golfer has completed the entire tournament. For example, if Scottie Scheffler has a Top 5 Finish question and he finishes in 4th place at the tournament's end, players that selected "Yes" would win those selections.

Any golfers that miss the cut or withdraw will be graded as "No" in their Top 5, 10, 20 Finish at the end of their final round. Any golfers that are tied for their finishing position, will be graded with the same finishing position. For example, if there are four golfers tied for 11th place at the conclusion of a tournament, all four would be resolved as “No” for their Top 10 Finish.

Single Round: Any golfer that does not complete their full round will be resolved as canceled (even if they go Over their projection).

If a PGA/Other round is officially canceled or postponed to a date later than the next Monday on the calendar, all projections from that round will be canceled. Rounds that resume and are completed before 11:59 PM EST on the next calendar Monday will be scored regularly.

Chirp Daily Fantasy may also cancel all questions for a tournament/round that has been postponed depending on the duration and time of the postponement.

Ties

Ties are considered as eligible questions. Each tied question regresses the entry payout down a pick.

• 8 picks in an entry regress to 7 picks
• 7 picks in an entry regress to 6 picks
• 6 picks in an entry regress to 5 picks
• The pattern continues until the entry regresses to 2 picks

If an entry has 2 picks remaining where one is correct and the other is a tie, the player is subject to a payout equal to the multiple of the correct question. However, if an entry has 2 picks remaining where one is a tie and the other is incorrect then the entry won’t have a payout. If all eligible picks in an entry are tied then the player will be refunded their entry fee.

Cancellations rules supersede ties in the event both occur in an entry. Entry must remain valid (Entry Restrictions section for more details).

Pick & Spin

Pick and Spin is your new way to play Pick ‘Em for a chance to 500x your entry all for a simple spin of wheel!

The gameplay is simple:

1. Enter the Pick & Spin contest via the lobby
2. Make a 2 pick entry with different golfers
3. Choose your entry fee and spin!Want to improve the multiple on your entry? Spin again!

Each spin will create a new entry with a fresh chance at the wheel. You may continue to re-spin the wheel for the same entry up until the cumulative fees submitted reach the entry fee maximum.

Pay Table

The multiplier for each entry is randomly determined according to the probability tables below:

*Check the Pick and Spin’s How To Play page in the app for our most updated pay table odds in the case of any payout discrepancies

Entries with a multiple of 500x or 100x are subject to a payout when only one of the picks hits.

If a pick in an entry results in a tie, then the multiple for the entry will be halved. If an entry features a tie and a loss then it will not be subject to a payout.

If the entry results in 2 ties or a single cancellation then the entry will be refunded.

The multiplier for each Pick & Spin entry is determined independently using an RNG, or random number generator. Any previous spins done by a player will not determine the outcome of future spins.

• For example, a game mode has an entry fees limit for a choice of $150. If a Scottie Scheffler Under 68.5 Strokes choice is submitted with an entry fee of $10, that choice can only be used in additional $140 worth of entry fees across all future entries. If a Scottie Scheffler Over 68.5 Strokes is chosen for the same question, the entry fees from that choice won’t contribute to the $150 limit. Choosing a Scheffler Over for a different event or different stat will also not contribute to the limit.
